About Mandy Neill

Spiritual Direction is the perfect combination of my two life-long loves: all things spiritual and always wanting to “go deeper” with people than is the norm in most social situations ;) I consider it my greatest privilege to witness God’s love for and movement within the lives of others!

I’ve spent the last 25 years working for the Church/ affiliated non-profits. I grew up in the Evangelical church, continue to study various religious traditions, and have found my spiritual home in contemplative Christianity. I am a member of the ELCA Lutheran Church and am currently completing my Masters of Divinity at Luther Seminary. I’ve been trained in spiritual direction through Soul Formation’s School of Spiritual Direction. My spiritual direction reflects Ignatian, Fransiscan, Ecotheology, and Mystic influences.

Personally speaking, I am a mother of two teens; one a special-needs child who joined our family through adoption. I have also struggled with three very challenging auto-immune conditions for over 20 years. However, I can say without a doubt that the latter two challenges have fostered a mystical connection with the Divine, more than I ever would have even imagined! I encounter God most in nature and the mundane moments of daily life. I LOVE wrestling with the mysteries within the Bible and have decided my life goal is to just be an “everyday mystic.”
